Following on the heels of popular introduction, Anemone WILD SWAN™, comes DREAMING SWAN™, the newest Anemone from the Scottish hybridizer Elizabeth MacGregor. DREAMING SWAN™ takes everything you liked about WILD SWAN™ and makes it bigger—larger flowers, larger leaves, and larger overall size. Semi-double white flowers have lilac blue backs on the outermost petals and open nodding downward before opening up to the sun. Dark green leaves have a semi-glossy finish. This beautiful Anemone blooms all season long, from late spring to frost.

This should be done in the spring. Make sure to provide a heavy mulch in the fall the first two seasons to prevent frost heaving.
Deer and rabbits typically don’t bother this plant and it has no serious pest or disease issues.
Anemones used to be called "windflowers."
