Agave romanii 'Shadow Dancer'

Agave 'Shadow Dancer' Century Plant

Common Name: Century Plant

This succulent will impress you with its petite size and interesting coloration. The newest leaves are pale green with a thin, darker green margin. Over time, the centers will lighten to near-white. Each leaf cups up slightly and is lined with a razor-thin mahogany brown margin. This dark edge really makes the light centers of the leaves pop!

The common name "Century Plant" is alluding to the belief that it takes 100 years to bloom. In reality, Agaves bloom after 15-20 years, and the main crown dies after blooming.
