Amsonia ciliata var. filifolia 'Georgia Pancake'

Common Name: Creeping Blue Star

This Blue Star is a departure from the taller varieties that we currently offer, with a low-growing habit that makes it ideal for use as a groundcover. Needle-like, chartreuse green foliage takes on a golden yellow color in fall and is soft to the touch. Small, pale blue flowers appear in late spring to early summer. When planted in front of Tall Sedum and garden mums, this will complete the perfect fall interest garden. Discovered by Bob McCartney in the sand hills of Georgia.
