Building on his phenomenal BIG BANG™ Series, hybridizer Darrell Probst is ready to introduce a new, shorter cultivar to the pack –‘Galaxy’ PP21999.
Standing just 12” tall, the compact, well-branched plants are less than half the height of ‘Full Moon’ and ‘Redshift’. Its healthy mid-green foliage remains attractive all season, with the texture being a bit more like the grandiflora types rather than threadleaf.
Large 2”, semi-double to double, canary yellow flowers are produced over a very long period from early summer through early fall.
This compact, long blooming Coreopsis is ideal for growing in containers or for edging flower borders.
Coreopsis is easy to grow, making it a good choice for beginners. One plant will provide you with long-lasting cut flower bouquets all summer long.
