Doronicum orientale LEONARDO™ Compact

Common Name: Leopard's Bane

Doronicum is an uncommon but wonderful spring blooming perennial with attractively toothed foliage and daisy-like flowers. It performs best in a partially shaded, consistently moist location.

One of the earliest flowering perennials, this plant combines well with other early bloomers such as Forget-Me-Nots and Creeping Phlox.

LEONARDO™ Compact is a smaller, more compact version of the original LEONARDO™, standing only about 6 inches tall when in bloom. In mid to late spring, single, yellow, daisy-like flowers are produced on bare stems above the rosette of green foliage. This is a very uniform plant, so it works well as an edging, in containers, or in small spaces.
