Growth will be strongest in soil with average fertility and moisture. Deadheading spent flower heads will extend the flowering time and prevent self-seeding.
This plant was found as a chance seedling in the garden of an employee named Lorraine of Hanson's Garden Village in Rheinlander, Wisconsin. It was then propagated en masse for all to enjoy!
