Common Name: Obedient Plant, False Dragonhead
The white flowering P. ‘Miss Manners’ has remained one of the most popular of all Obedient Plants for years because of its well-behaved, clump forming habit. Now, thanks to the meticulous breeding work of Darrell Probst who also introduced 'Miss Manners' years ago, we have a pink flowered form of this well-mannered variety.
No staking is required on this new strictly upright, strong stemmed, clump forming perennial.
Spikes of pale pink to white buds open to lavender pink flowers with a white throat. Like other Obedient Plants, the flowers remain in position when twisted on the stem. The colorful blossoms rise above the column of fresh green foliage beginning in midsummer.
