Hibiscus 'Cherry Cheesecake' PP26089 CPBR4945

SUMMERIFIC® Collection

Common Name: Rose Mallow

Another gorgeous addition to the popular SUMMERIFIC™ series!  This year’s new gal on the block is a compact, well-branched and heavily budded selection that forms an attractive, shrub-like clump of thick, leathery, maple-like, dark green leaves.

We’re not sure which are prettier—the creamy pink, magenta kissed flower buds or the white flowers with magenta tipped petals and magenta veining radiating out from the cherry red eye.  Huge 7-8” wide flowers have thick, heavily overlapping petals with a ruffled, rumpled texture that helps them hold up better in the summer wind than older selections with thin petals. And since this variety is an indeterminate bloomer, it has buds all the way up the stems making it bloom for much longer than older Hibiscus.

‘Cherry Cheesecake’ is the perfect backdrop or centerpiece for sunny borders.  It will be the star of the show from late summer into early fall.
